Analytical fuzzy plane geometry I

چکیده
This paper provides a detailed analysis of fuzzy point, fuzzy line segment, fuzzy distance and the angle between two fuzzy line segments. Two new concepts, same points and inverse points, are defined for this analysis. The basic properties of fuzzy distance, ideas about the containment of a fuzzy point on a fuzzy line segment and the coincidence of two fuzzy points are also described. A linear combination of two fuzzy points is introduced to define a fuzzy line segment. The fuzzy point dividing a fuzzy line segment in a given ratio is also investigated. All the discussion points are supported by suitable examples. © 2012 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

Multiple cracks in an elastic half-plane subjected to thermo-mechanical loading
An analytical solution is presented for the thermoelastic problem of a half-plane with several cracks under thermo mechanical loading using distributed dislocation technique. The uncoupled quasi-static linear thermoelasticity theory is adopted in which the change in temperature, if any, due to deformations is neglected. The stress field in a half-plane containing thermoelastic dislocation is ob...
متن کاملFuzzy Scalar Field Theory as a Multitrace Matrix Model
We develop an analytical approach to scalar field theory on the fuzzy sphere based on considering a perturbative expansion of the kinetic term. This expansion allows us to integrate out the angular degrees of freedom in the hermitian matrices encoding the scalar field. The remaining model depends only on the eigenvalues of the matrices and corresponds to a multitrace hermitian matrix model. Suc...
متن کاملThree-dimensional analytical models for time-dependent coefficients through uniform and varying plane input source in semi-infinite adsorbing porous media.
In the present study, analytical solutions are developed for three-dimensional advection-dispersion equation (ADE) in semi-infinite adsorbing saturated homogeneous porous medium with time dependent dispersion coefficient. It means porosity of the medium is filled with single fluid(water). Dispersion coefficient is considered proportional to seepage velocity while adsorption coefficient inversel...

متن کاملIntroduction to Statistical Geometry
By accepting the uncertainty principle in an Euclidean plane, the position of point, line, and every geometric shape can be identi ed by the statistical parameters of mean and standard deviation. A heuristic model of Euclidean Statistical Geometry will be established. An axiomatic approach for unde ned terms and their use in geometric objects is presented. The consistency of geometric interpret...
